No school student is to be sent home for non-payment of fees.
This is the directive from the Education Ministry as part of their package to assist school children affected by the nation-wide flooding. The Ministry has just revealed that they will be releasing tuition fee grants to schools in the first week of school.
Following the flooding last week around the country, the Ministry has also revealed that they will be carrying out damage assessments in all schools.
Students who do not have uniforms are allowed to wear mufti, provided it is respectable and neat.
School is expected to start next week.
