Fiji Sports Council Chairman, Paul Yee said there is no reason for Rajendra Chaudhry to drag the Council to Court after Chaudhry claimed that he was not paid for his case against FICAC.
Yee said Chaudhry was suspended from the Fiji Sports Council Board and there was no reason for the payment to be made.
He adds Chaudhry was charged by FICAC for his own doings and he should not involve the council in this matter.
However, Chaudhry said Yee has misinformed people on the issue and has deliberately stopped the payment.
The Suva Magistrates Court had ruled in favour of Chaudhry earlier in the year saying there was no case to answer on allegations that Chaudhry had obstructed a FICAC Officer while performing his duty.
