The Water Supply Department has confirmed there will be no planned water shutdown.
Divisional Water Engineer Central/Eastern Division, Serei-cocoko Yanu-yanurua has confirms there is sufficient water level in the reservoirs to supply water to people in the Suva/Nausori corridor.
Yanu-yanurua said they do not want schools and businesses to be affected and planned water shutdowns will be the last option.
Meanwhile, he said only area that will not receive water will be Veisari and water trucks will be used to supply water to the people.
Yanu-yanu-rua also urges people to not waste water and use it sparingly.
