There will be no overseas based reps included in the Digicel Fiji 7s team for the Wellington and San Diego 7s.

Coach Josateki Savou, who was eyeing Japan based Semisi Naevo and William Ryder, together with France based Filimoni Bolavucu, has confirmed to Village Sports that the trio are tied up with club commitments.

Savou said that the three players will be playing for their respective clubs during the Wellington 7s, and he will now look at other alternatives in trying to iron out the problems Fiji faced in the Dubai and San Diego 7s.

Naevo, Ryder and Bolavucu will be available to help the Fiji 7s team in the Hong Kong 7s.

The Fiji 7s team to Wellington will be named on the 19th of January.

Fiji is in Pool B in the Wellington 7s with England, Wales and the Cook Islands.

The Wellington 7s kicks-off on the first week of February.
