Flour Mills of Fiji, which bottles FMF VTY, stresses that there is simply no need to impose any tax on the sale or export of bottled water.
FMF Chairman Hari Punja also adds that the proposal on compensation to be paid to government based on the financial situation of the individual water bottling company will also be unconstitutional.
The interim government and the water bottling companies will commence discussions regarding the appropriate level of compensation to be paid to the government by the various companies for the bottling of water.
