Netball Fiji has no money at this stage to sign an official contract with new national coach Melissa Walker.
The New Zealander arrived into the country two weeks ago and her expenses have so far been covered by the interim government who gave Netball Fiji $10,000.
Netball Fiji is looking at close to $80,000 to sign the deal before Walker goes back next Sunday.
Walker is hopeful that Netball Fiji will secure the sponsorship and she will sign the contract before she leaves.
Meanwhile, Walker will be holding the trials for the Under-21 team to the World Youth Championships and the team to the Pacific Mini Games this weekend, after which the two teams will be announced before she leaves for New Zealand.
