The Fiji 15s rugby side will not play any international test matches this season apart from the IRB Pacific Nations Cup competition.
FRU's High Performance Unit manager Peter Murphy said they tried to secure a few international tests for Ilivasi Tabua's team but were unsuccessful.
However, Murphy said plans are in place to take the Fiji development team for a tour to Australia later this year.
