Rewa Chief, Ro Filipe Tuisawau said no amount of consultation or calling forums as proposed by the National Council for Building a Better Fiji can allow a change to the electoral systems in Fiji.
Ro Filipe was reacting to the presentations by the Electoral Commission and the Boundaries Commission to the NCBBF early this week stating that the current electoral system is undemocratic and flawed and needs to be changed.
The NCBBF stressed that was now actively looking at changes to the current electoral system and the Co chairpersons of the Council Archbishop Petero Mataca and Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama approached the President Ratu Josefa Iloilo to call a forum to allow the changes to be made.
