No Force - Nawalowalo
Those are the words of the Great Council of Chiefs Review Team Chairman Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo to those provinces who are raising their concern that the taskforce is pressuring the provincial council to accept the new GCC promulgation.
Nawalowalo believes that those provinces who are calling the interim government illegal should know what the other hand is doing before making any comments.
He said that they are not forcing any chief to be part of the new GCC as they are just passing on the message from the interim government.
Meanwhile, the Turaga Tui Namosi has requested a special meeting with the GCC Review Team this Friday at the Province House in Navua, before the Namosi Provincial Meeting next week.
Nawalowalo has confirmed that Ratu Suliano Matanitobua has asked them to be in Navua on Friday, to meet with the Namosi Chiefs to clarify a few issues regarding the membership in the new look GCC.
The GCC task team will be in Lautoka tomorrow at 10am to meet with Ba Chiefs of Ba and on Thursday they will be in Nukuloa for the Ra Province Meeting.
On Friday at 10am they will meet with the chiefs of Namosi in Navua.
