Fiji Human Rights Commissioner, Shamima Ali is concerned that there has been no meetings of the Commission since December 2006.
Ali claims that the last meeting she was called to attend was on 12th December 2006, a day after Rodney Acraman was appointed as Chairperson.
She has revealed that no allowances have been paid to her.
She added that the Commission should have monthly meetings to discuss policy matters, which has not been done.
The Human Rights Commissioner also claims that she was not consulted about the reports being released by the Human Rights Commission.
Human Rights Chairperson, Doctor Shaista Shameen is expected to comment later today as she was busy attending a meeting this morning.
