The Ministry for Youth is facing a difficult challenge in finding employment opportunities for thousands of school leavers each year.
Interim Minister for Youth and Employment Opportunities Lekh Ram Vayeshnoi said Fiji currently has 26,000 unemployed people with about 19,000 school leavers joining each year.
He said his ministry is considering the establishment of "Job Search" offices in each division to assist people who are looking for jobs. He said these offices will assist job seekers with their resumes, application letters and interviews.
