There is no election date set as yet for Fiji.
In an exclusive interview with Fijivillage, interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama had confirmed that the next elections will be held after the necessary electoral reforms are completed and implemented.
Bainimarama said he will not rely on an elected government or parliament to implement the electoral changes and everything will be put in place first before he decides on an election date.
Bainimarama also revealed that he did not commit to any dates for elections when he met the Forum Ministerial Contact Group.
