The interim government is still liaising with the Commonwealth and the United Nations about the proposed Presidential Forum to be held this year.

Permanent Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office Parmesh Chand said once they finish talking to both the United Nations and the Commonwealth, a date will then be set.

Chand could not confirm when Sir Paul Reeves, under whose auspices the Forum is expected to be held, is expected to arrive into the country.

It was revealed earlier that the Forum may take place next month.

Major discussions during the Presidential Forum will include the proposed electoral changes, the People's Charter and a way forward for Fiji.
