There is still no date set for the much anticipated forum to discuss the proposed changes to the Electoral Act and the constitution.
Fijivillage has received confirmation that Commonwealth representative Sir Paul Reeves and UN representative Yash Ghai are expected to visit Fiji sometime in August.
The two are then expected to set terms of reference for the forum. The dates will then be decided before official invitations are sent out.
It has also been confirmed that the forum will not only be made up of political parties as other stakeholders including the NCBBF will be part of the discussions.
Meanwhile, the Elections office is preparing for house-to-house voter registration.
Deputy Supervisor of Elections, Soro Toutou said newly appointed Supervisor of Elections, Felicity Heffernan is expected to start work on 7th July and she will appoint the Registration officials.
