No Confirmation Yet On Overseas Players
Fijivillage has been informed that after the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) meeting last weekend there is still no word from any clubs on the availability of the players.
The likes of Apolosi Satala, Napolioni Nalaga, Filimoni Delasau and Timoci Nagusa are tied up with club commitments on the same weekend of the Melrose Cup as they will play for their respective clubs in the Heineken Cup competition.
Only the likes of Sireli Bobo, Jone Daunivucu, Semisi Naevo and William Ryder could join the team with two weeks before the tournament in Dubai.
Although under the IRB regulation players will have to be release for national duties with a week to go for the competition, Serevi will need these players to be with the side earlier to build a winning combination.
The World Cup 7s will be held in Dubai from the 6th to the 8th of March.
