Teachers will not be able to teach without the Certificate from the Fiji Teachers Registration Board after August.
The Head of the Board, Rahemat Ali said all Education Officers are required to register also, and so far 10 officers have registered, while the forms have been dispatched to the Education offices in all the districts for the teachers to register.
Meanwhile, Ali has also stressed that teachers who fail to register by the end of August in the Fiji Teachers Registration Board could face a fine of up to $20,000.
More than 10,000 teachers will have to get registered and pay an annual fee of $40.
