Hundreds of people are affected as there are no bus services in some areas of Seaqaqa in Vanua Levu for the past one month.

There are reports that Bulileka Transport suspended its services in Vunivere, Navaicamu and Navai due to bad road conditions.

Farmers and school students are affected badly as they are dependent on bus services to get to the market and school.

The Land Transport Authority is liaising with Bulileka Transport so that services are normalized.

LTA CEO Etuate Koroi confirmed three bus companies from the northern division have written complaints about bad road conditions which have been referred to the Works Ministry.

The director of Bulileka Transport has refused to comment on the matter.
