Good news for people as bus fares will not increase due to increasing fuel prices.
The interim government has decided to provide subsidies to the Bus Operators to cushion the blow on the industry.
Principal Information Officer at the Transport Ministry, Sainiana Waqainabete confirmed that cabinet has approved the subsidies.
The Bus Operators Association had earlier asked for assistance from the Interim Government after consecutive increases in fuel prices.
