As the battle of the semi-final spot continues in the day 2 of the Vodafone Fiji Fact at the TFL Stadium the Labasa soccer team have received a timely boost with the release of Joseph Nimiriau from the Navua soccer team.
Labasa soccer President, Avinesh Kumar negotiated with his Navua counterpart Anil Sharma to release Nimiriau for their second pool game against Ba tonight.
Kumar said the release will fire up their striking force which failed to function last night.
For Nimiriau he publicly apologise to Navua for walking away from the team camp in the 11th hour and joined up with the Labasa team.
Labasa is also waiting for the arrival of New Zealand based Benjamin Totori to boost their striking force which failed to function in last night's loss. The Ba and Labasa match will kick-off at 7.45pm and will be the last game of day 2.
In the first game today, at 4pm Nadroga will take on Tavua and you can catch the live commentary on our sister radio station Sargam.
Other commentaries at 5.15pm Navua will face Lautoka and at 7.45pm Ba plays Labasa.
