The Brumbies halfback said he is not in South Africa to give Will Genia a rest as he wants to give him a fight.
White said he wants to make the jersey his as much as Genia wants to get it back.
White played the full 80 minutes during the Wallabies' gritty 14-13 victory against Argentina in Perth.
It was their first win under new coach Ewen McKenzie.
The Springboks will take on the Wallabies at 3am this Sunday while Argentina will play the All Blacks at 10.40am.
