Chiefs centre Charlie Ngatai will miss their Super Rugby match against the Rebels on Saturday, after suffering concussion in their last outing against the Highlanders.
His injury was confirmed by coach Dave Rennie at Chiefs training today.
It will be the third game the centre has missed this season, after a shoulder injury kept him out of the Chiefs' wins over the Hurricanes and the Sharks last month.
Anton Lienert‑Brown will be the likely replacement when the Chiefs' team is named on Thursday.
The Chiefs face the Rebels at 7.35pm Saturday.
On Friday, the Crusaders clash with the Waratahs at 7.35pm.
