The Interim Finance Minister has today stressed that two newspaper outlets have a personal agenda against him and the interim government as they have not published his explanations in relation to the recent attacks printed against him in the dailies.
Mahendra Chaudhry alleges that the Fiji Times and Fiji Sun by not publishing his side of the story continue to take a biased approached without any explanation.
He said he has written to the Fiji Times already but nothing has eventuated.
Chaudhry said the Fiji Sun has also not published his letter after the newspaper attacked the tax inquiry report.
In a letter to the Fiji Sun, the Interim Finance Minister said the newspaper was trying to foster a division between the interim administration and the military council on the tax issue.
Chaudhry also alleges that the deported Sun Publisher, Russell Hunter had a personal agenda against him and wanted him removed from office because Hunter's work permit was not renewed back in 2000.
Hunter has maintained that he did not have a personal agenda against anyone.
Fiji Times Editor, Netani Rika said they will only comment when the Fiji Media Council has dealt with the issue.
Acting Publisher of the Fiji Sun, Samisoni Kakaivalu is expected to comment later.
