The newly appointed Board of Post Fiji Limited has been given strict instructions to recover all the tax dollars allegedly misused by former board members and managers of the company.
Speaking to Village news this afternoon, Interim Minister for Public Enterprise Poseci Bune confirms that after studying the Finance Ministry Audit Report on Post Fiji, the new Board has been told to take action on various recommendations.
Bune also confirms that the interim government is now closely looking at the operations of all government entities to determine if there are other cases where tax dollars have been abused.
Current Chairman of Post Fiji Brigadier General Iowane Naivalurua is yet to comment.
Meanwhile, Lawyer representing former Post Fiji Chairman Mahendra Patel, Hamendra Nagin is expected to file legal action against the release of the Audit report which highlights alleged corrupt practices by former board members and managers.
