New winner to be crowned for PNC
The winner of this year's title is yet to be decided, Fiji has a hand on the silverware, however, Samoa and Japan can also claim the title, and it all rests on the results of the games that will be played this afternoon.
Fiji is the only team in the competition to have won both their games so far, and they will only need to win against Samoa and the title is theirs.
Coach Samu Domoni said he has told his boys that the game against Samoa will be physical and they have to keep cool and not lose their temper, and avoid giving away penalties.
However, Samoa can claim the title if they beat Fiji by a bonus point and Japan also has an equal chance for the title.
The Cherry Blossoms need to win by a bonus-point against Tonga and pray that Samoa denies Fiji a bonus point and the title will travel to Japan.
Japan head coach John Kirwan is aware of the importance of recording a victory in their final match against Tonga with a view to gaining a mental edge over their opponents ahead of the Rugby World Cup.
The Japan versus Tonga match kicks off at 12:10pm while the Flying Fijians take on Manu Samoa at 3:10pm.
