New winner for secondary schools IDC

A new winner will be crowned at this years Tuckers Ice Cream Fiji Secondary Schools IDC after defending U19 division champions Lautoka Central College failed to qualify for the tournament.

Cathedral Secondary School will make its second consecutive appearance at the tournament and are pooled with southern division winners Saraswati College, Labasa's Shri Guru Nanak Khalsa College and Kamil Muslim College in Pool 3.

Pool 2 has Gospel High School, Tilak High School, Nawai Secondary school, Labasa College and Nukuloa College.

Meanwhile, sponsors Tuckers Ice Cream gave a sponsorship of $13,500 while Fiji Football Association gave $7,000 to the Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Association.

The tournament will be played at Subrail Park from the 15th to the 18th of this month.
