The new track at the ANZ stadium has been laid and now awaits the sprinters to give their best in the Coca-Cola Games in May.

A company from Australia, Team Sports, has carried out work on the track and it will undergo a final check by a New Zealand based independent consultant.

Meanwhile, another feature of the new ANZ stadium will be the four lane 100 metre warm up track.

Fiji Sports Council CEO Litiana Loabuka said the warm up track which will be behind the main grandstand is expected to be ready soon.

The ANZ stadium will open at the end of April with the Coca-Cola Games to be held on the 16th and 17th of May.
