The arena is ready for 16 participating teams to battle it out for the $25,000 prize money at the Uprising Fiji International sevens this morning.

The question some rugby fans are asking is who will be the next emerging star out of this tournament.

Last year the Ministry of Health Wardens won the final but it was Deuba brothers Waisea Nayacalevu and Avenisi Vasuinubu who caught the eyes of the national selectors.

So will Benito Eremasi, Manasa Nayagi, Viliame Navanua, Jasa Veremalua and Josua Tuisova of the FMF Fiji Warriors and Digicel Fiji Barbarians side rise to the expectation of the people or will it be the unknown players from outside teams that will steal the show?

According to Digicel Fiji 7s team assistant Coach Timoci Wainiqolo, only the players from the Warriors and Barbarians side will be up for selection for the next leg of the IRB 7s.

The World's best rugby sevens coach, Gordon Tietjens said it is always an honor to be here and it is now or never for his players.

Meanwhile, after the devastation of Cyclone Evan in the western division former national sevens play maker Metuisela Talebula believes this will be a good time for fans to come out and enjoy rugby.
