The Ba soccer association has suffered a major setback as three of its players who returned from Papua New Guinea will not be able to feature for the Men in Black till the new transfer window period opens in July.

In line with the new transfer management system, soccer associations will not be allowed to register players outside the player transfer window from now onwards.

This means that Alvin Singh, Tuimasi Manuca and Malakai Tiwa can only play for Ba after July when they apply for their International transfer certificate.

Labasa soccer has also suffered similar setback as New Zealand based, Roy Krishna and Apisalome Turuva will not be able to play for the Babasiga Lions till July 1st.

According to Fiji Football Association Chief Executive, Bob Kumar, teams will also miss out in bringing overseas-based players to play in local soccer tournaments from now onwards.
