New resort set to open
Remote Resorts has announced plans for The Remote Resort Fiji Islands which will be an oasis for lovers of off the beaten path luxury in the South Pacific and will be located in the Somosomo Strait, which lies between Vanua Levu and Taveuni.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Developer Dan Dimmock said the resort seeks to create a place where raw environs and chic luxury meet and offer guests a Fiji experience like no other.
Visitors to the resort will also have the opportunity to explore the world under the waves diving the Rainbow Reef, considered one of the most famous dive sites in the South Pacific
Dimmock said they decided to invest in Fiji simply because of the people and the hospitality that they have to offer.
Dimmock said guests will soon discover a charmed island life with the most unique and innovative designed guest pavilions that Fiji has to offer.
The developers say they are keeping the total investment figures close to their chest at this stage but it will run into millions of dollars.
Remote Resort Fiji Islands is scheduled to open in June 2011.
