A change in the play-maker position is in the mind of Digicel Fiji 7's coach Josateki Savou when he will name his run on team to take on Australia in their opening pool game of the San Diego 7's.

After assessing their loss to Samoa in the 1/4 finals of the Wellington 7's, Savou has identify that they need veteran Neumi Nanuku to guide the back-line from play-maker.

It is likely Nanuku will be replace by Akuila Nawerecagi on the wing while Emosi Vucago will stay at 1/2 back and Setefano Cakau on the rover.

Captain Etonia Naba will lead the side in the forwards with Epeli Vuniwaqa and Viliame Maya.

Fiji will need to win all of their 3 pool matches against Australia, West Indies and Samoa to avoid a 1/4 final showdown with New Zealand.

Fiji's first game at 8.12am on Sunday will be against Australia.

Then Fiji takes on West Indies at 11.18, and their last game is at 2.46 in the afternoon against Samoa.

Alot of 7s rugby followers are putting their cards in the Gordon Tietjens coached side to grab their fourth title in the 2008 IRB series this weekend.

Speaking to Legend FM sports, New Zealand captain DJ Forbes says that nothing is impossible and he is confident that the boys can deliver what it takes, but he prefers to keep a low profile.
