The new players that went with the Digicel Fiji 7s to the New Zealand 7s were shell-shocked and this is one of the reason we saw one of the worst performances from our team.
Those are the words of Fiji 7s assistant coach, Timoci Wainiqolo who arrived with the team today.
He said some of the players did not meet their standards.
He added playing just weeks before an IRB 7s tournament is not a good idea and this is something that must stop.
Wainiqolo has also confirmed that he was calling the shots in New Zealand and was not getting any advice from Fiji.
