The three new players who have been included in Ben Ryan’s 19 member training squad are expected to provide tough competition to the existing members of the Vodafone Fiji 7's team who featured in the last two legs.

Wardens Gold playmaker Kitione Taliga and winger Abele Yalayalatabua have forced their way into the national training squad with Marist playmaker and former Suva Grammar School student Inia Saravanua also impressing coach Ben Ryan last week.

Also trying his best to get back into the international sevens scene are Hideaway Hurricanes playmaker Eminoni Nasilasila and Tokatoka Westfield Babas forward Pio Tuwai.

The players who suffered minor injuries last week are vice-captain Isake Katonibau, Gaunavou forward Viliame Mata and Army Green playmaker Emosi Mulevoro.

Meanwhile Semi Kunatani, Jerry Tuwai, Sevanaca Rawaca and captain Osea Kolinisau are still recovering from injuries.

Ryan has less than three weeks to prepare the national side for the HSBC Hong Kong 7's which will be held from the 27th to the 29th of this month.

The training squad will be camping from tomorrow at the Uprising Beach Resort in Deuba.
