New passports will be available for collection on scheduled dates at Immigration offices Fiji wide.
Director Nemani Vuniwaqa confirmed that they are trying to clear the pending passports and will also accommodate for urgent applications.
Major Vuniwaqa said that those collecting the passports will need to follow the scheduled dates.
40 thousand new passports have arrived in the country.
There are about 13 thousand pending passport applications.
The issuing of books will normalize from Friday 24th August.
