The new increase in fuel prices will come into effect from tomorrow.

According to the Commerce Commission, the new retail price of unleaded fuel will be $2.58 a litre which is an increase of 8 cents.

Premix will be $2.54, an increase of 7 cents while the price of Diesel will be $2.31, an increase of 3 cents and Kerosene is $1.93, an increase of 5 cents.

The increase is based on submissions by the Commerce Commission in regards to the agreement with oil companies where the price would be reviewed every three months.
