People of Ovalau will now enjoy better and accessible health services after the opening of a new Health Centre in the Bureta Village.

Health Minister, Dr Neil Sharma officially opened the health centre.

He said the new health centre is another milestone achievement for the island in line with the Peoples Charter for Change, Peace and Progress Pillar 10 which calls for improvement in Health Service Delivery.

Dr Sharma also thanked the people of Levuka for their support towards the project.

In the past people travelled long distances to see a doctor at the Hospital in Levuka Town but now the people of seven villages will save their time and money.
