Netball Fiji will be a big loser if the World Netball Championships change the competition format in 2015.

A likely scenario is a two division system of eight teams each, with the highest ranked nations fighting it out for the world title in the top tier, and those in the lower group competing for promotion.

With Fiji now fighting for a place in the 9th to the 16th play off it will mean that they will be playing in a lower grade if the changes go ahead.

IFNA president Molly Rhone said that if adopted, the new format will see all top teams in the premier division meeting each other at least once in the competition.

Fiji will take on Wales at 5.15 this afternoon in their last pool match.
