A new format is expected in the National Soccer League next year after a National League Board meeting today.

 
Chairman of National League Board Sheik Ibrahim said that sponsors CJ Patel and Company requested for only eight teams in the Super premier division next year as this would draw more fans during game time.

Ibrahim added that nothing has been finalised as the final decision will come in the AGM during the Inter District Championship.
