The new constitution will be made public this week.
This has been confirmed by the Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.
Sayed-Khaiyum said some amendments have been made to the draft version.
He said briefing sessions on the constitution will be held with the media, civil society groups, political parties and the diplomatic corp on Thursday.
