A total of 38 students from the Fiji Institute of Technology will now benefit from a new state of the art computer lab that was officially opened this morning.
The Laboratory that boasts 30 computers which have the latest in video editing and program development which Director of Journalism studies, Elia Vesikula said would see many of their students multi skilling.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director at FIT, Alipate Cawanibuka also revealed that they had just received a $150,000 from AusAid for their program.
The Journalism Program at the Institute has been in place for three years with over 100 students graduating and entering the main stream media.
