The new Digicel Fiji 7s coach to lead Fiji into the new IRB series tournament will be announced at Rugby House today.
 
Fiji Rugby Union Chairman, Colonel Mosese Tikoitoga confirmed this to Fijivillage last Friday.

One of the requirements of the new coach is that he should be able to travel to Australia and New Zealand without any restrictions.

It has also been confirmed that applicants namely Alifereti Dere, Sailosi Naiteqe Senior from the Waimanu rugby, Rewa’s Watisoni Ratulevu and Acura Niuqila attended the interview last Friday.

Digicel Fiji 7s coach to the Marist 7s and the FORU tournament in Samoa, Josateki Savou and former coach Iliesa Tanivula were not short listed for the interviews.

The new coach will lead Fiji to the first IRB series in Australia Sevens that will be played in Gold Coast on the 25th and 26th of this month.
