A new champion will be crowned for the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.

This is after defending champions Tokatoka Resort Westfield Babas was bundled out of the tournament in the Cup quarterfinal.

Westfield Babas lost 21-28 to Police in the first Cup quarterfinal today.

Police will now meet Tabadamu in the first Cup semifinal.

Police has the services of Fiji 7s team speedstar Samisoni Viriviri while Tabadamu has the services of in-form Joeli Lutumailagi, Setefano Cakau, Sitiveni Waqa, Jone Vota, David Batiratu and Nasoni Roko.

In the other semifinal, Wardens Gold will take on Yamacia.

Warderns Gold has the services of Lepani Botia, Leo Naikasau, Asaeli Boko and Waisea Nacuqu while Yamacia has the services of Fiji 7s players Semi Kunatani and Donasio Ratubuli.

Looking at the results of the quarterfinals, Tabadamu edged Army 14-12, Wardens Gold hammered First Landing 27-7 while Yamacia beat Wardens Green 12-7.
