A new champion will be crowned at the Vulaca Volleyball Tournament which starts tomorrow at the FMF Gymnasium.
This follows the withdrawal of the defending champion Suva yesterday.
Nasinu Volleyball Association Secretary Sefa Wailekaleka said they did not get any clear explanation from the capital side as to why they withdrew from the tournament.
Meanwhile, 31 volleyball teams in the Central Division have been confirmed to compete in the championship.
This includes 21 teams for men and 10 teams in the women’s competition.
The entry fee is $5 for spectators.
The Vulaca Volleyball Championship will end on Saturday.
