New champion to be crowned at Uprising 7s
The Manasa Bari coached LICI Police has created the biggest upset at the second day of the Uprising Fiji International 7s after they beat the defending champions, Red Rock by 26-19.
Bari said that their mission is to come and win.
Meanwhile, disappointed Red Rock coach, Lote Rasiga said he attributes the silly mistakes done by the players to their loss against Police.
In other results of the Cup quarter finals, URF Wardens beat Aussie Thunderbolts 15-10 and Jim Beam Uprising side created another upset after beating the Digicel Fiji Barbarians side by 15-10.
Earlier results from the Bowls quarter finals, Samurai Barracudas beat Samoa Invitational 26-19, Blue Gas Lautoka beat Auckland Invitational 24-14, URF International beat Courts Ratu Filise 29-10.
Looking at the Cup semifinal at 15:18pm LICI Police meet the FMF Fiji Warriors and at 15:40pm URF Wardens meet the Jim Beam Uprising team.
In the Bowl semifinals, Samurai Barracudas meet Blue Gas Lautoka and URF International meet Jokhan Realtors Marist.
