A new captain could be in charge of the Digicel Fiji Sevens team to the last leg of the IRB Sevens series in England and Scotland.

Current captain Emosi Vucago has been told to focus with the Fiji Barbarians team and has been eyed by FRU coaching director Samu Domoni Junior to be one of the leading candidates for the halfback position in the Flying Fijian.

With Vucago likely to be unavailable, players like William Ryder, Lepani Nabuliwaqa, Pio Tuwai, Jiuta Lutumailagi, Peni Rokodiva Jnr and Niumaia Cakacaka are also in doubt for the trip.

Also Setefano Cakau is down with injury and Osea Kolinisau is in France which will mean Coach Iliesa Tanivula will name some new caps for the England Sevens.

The last leg of the IRB Sevens series is in the last week of May.
