Today will be a new beginning for the students of Lomaivuna Primary and Lomaivuna High School in the province of Naitasiri, as the area will officially receive electricity today.
Most of the students that are catered for in this school come from the nearby villages of Navolau, Delaiwaimale, Natavea and Vunidawa, to name a few.
Works Ministry Spokesperson, Sainiana Waqainabete said that this is part of the $10 million dollars that Government is giving to assist in rural electrification projects.
Navolau village project member, Vereimi Vudileka said this new project be of great benefit to the students in the village and the villagers themselves in doing their small businesses.
Works Minister Colonel Timoci Natuva will officially launch the electrification project in Navolau this morning.
