The problem shortage of police officers may soon be over as special constables are being looked at to strengthen the man power of the Fiji Police force.
Police spokesperson Ema Mua said the inclusion of these constables in the force will help in the fight against crime.
It is unclear at the moment when new police officers will join the force.
