The newly built Vunisea Jetty in Kadavu is set to be completed in November, which Government is hoping will increase economic activity for the people on the island.
Works Ministry Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said the construction of the work which included the new jetty and roads has cost government around $3.7 million since work commenced in 2007.
She said as well as the new jetty, the roads around Vunisea have been upgraded as well.
