The Fiji Rugby Union could be forced to name some other senior team officials to take the FMF Flying Fijians 15s rugby team to the Rugby World Cup if allegations against some current team officials for smoking marijuana are found to be true.

Village Sports has been reliably informed that the FRU board has already been speaking to former coach Brad Johnstone who is likely to be brought into the team to guide them for the World Cup.

This comes after allegations of marijuana use by team officials. The issue of indiscipline in camp has been highlighted by some players who were part of the Pacific Cup competition and the Australia tour.

Sources have confirmed that the FRU board is now looking at the manager's report during the Pacific Cup and the Test match against Australia to be able to make their stand known to those who were involved.

Meanwhile, in a report on the Planet Rugby website, two Fiji players who opted to remain anonymous said that the team bus was delayed from leaving their hotel before the game against Australia on June 9th while the two Fiji team officials smoked the drug in the hotel.

One of the players told Fox Sports that many will not comment on the issue for the fear of being victimized and since they got tired of waiting, Captain Alifereti Doviverata gave the directive for the bus to leave and not wait for the two officials.
