More than 500 residents of New Town in Tacirua have been facing water cuts from the beginning of the week.
A resident Jone Dau said they have to get water from family and friends nearby as the water they had collected has run out and there is no water trucks going around.
Meanwhile, Works Ministry spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said power disruptions earlier this week resulted in low water levels at some reservoirs mainly in greater Suva area.
