The Levuka Tourism Association has welcomed the introduction of Pacific Sun's connection flight for Suva to Levuka from Nadi from the 1st of March.
Secretary John Milesi said living on a small island, air services becomes an essential service which something Levuka has not had since late December. He said the new service will attract more tourists to the old capital which in turn will help out small tourism operators.
Milkesi said this new service will help tourists get to their destinations quickly.
The new Suva-Levuka flight will start on the 1st of March.
